As you can see I haven't posted anything since August. Seems so long ago, but at the same time seems like yesterday. I can't believe how the older you get, the fast time flies. My life is crazy busy, but I love every minute of it.
Makayla will be nine months on the sixteenth of this month and I seriously am blown away by how fast she is growing. On Thanksgiving Day, she started to crawl. She has two teeth and thats all. I don't know where the others are but they are taking their sweet time coming in and I'm perfectly ok with that since we are still nursing. She is getting solid foods very well. She loves to eat. We tried chicken, acorn squash, with some brown rice tonight and she ate it up like it was going out of style! I love that she is a good eater! The only food we had a little trouble with was green beans, but I was told to put some butter and brown sugar on it and of course, she loved them. We still haven't gotten the sippy cup down yet, but soon. She is pulling up and has been for several weeks now. She will be walking in no time and I'm just a little sad about that. For the longest time when she would crawl, she didn't understand that she could crawl outside of the living room. She would go to the hallway and just stop and cry. Now, she is everywhere and in everything! And its only going to get worse when she starts walking. She obeys really well for a nine month old. We tell her "no" and she listens.... sometimes. She is very sensitive and when we say "no" and give her "the look", she cries and I mean, like CRIES! It horrible and breaks my heart, but I stand firm!
Well I think that is all the update on Miss Makayla and I'm going to try my hardest to keep this updated as much as possible. We go in for her nine month appt on the twenty-first, so I will update then.
